How to Install cvs software package in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

cvs software package provides Concurrent Versions System, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install cvs

cvs is installed in your system.

Make ensure the cvs package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cvs *

You will get with cvs package name, version, architecture and description in a table
